End of Financial Year 2021

If you are wondering how to look at your income statement, keep reading for some important information on how to view and lodge your tax for the 2020/21 financial year.

Your income statement will be available at the end of the financial year through your myGov account (https://my.gov.au) in the ATO services portal. When you navigate to ATO, you will find your income statement on the home page and will be able to prepare your tax from there. Click here to find an ATO information sheet, that outlines how your employer will be reporting your tax.

It is important to wait until we finalise your income statement before you or your agent lodge your tax return. The deadline for businesses to provide income statements is 14 July, however we will finalise yours as soon as possible and send you an email when it is tax ready.

If you do not have a myGov account, that is not a problem! You can call the ATO help line on 132 861 or use a tax agent who can access your information.

Please remember to be careful of scams at this time of the year. The ATO do not send emails or texts with hyperlinks directing you to log on to myGov or myTax. They will never ask you to provide personal information to receive a refund. If you are ever unsure, contact the ATO directly.
